Wave Rangers – Supporting Vulnerable Youth

The Wave Rangers share an incredible video with us about supporting the local, vulnerable youth around North Devon in the UK, enjoying SUP and many other activities.

For those that don’t know, The Wave Rangers won a Yellow V iSUP package during our nomination competition back in 2020. In the video above, they share the stories of how they affect positive change within the young community of North Devon, UK.

The Wave Rangers project is an entirely free, all year-round project working with 10-20 year olds in North Devon. As part of the Wave Project, joining Rangers allows students to develop their environmental awareness, help to tackle climate change, volunteer in community projects, have fun, make new friends and discover new areas of the North Devon coastline.

We’re super stoked the Wave Rangers won the nomination and we can see that the Yellow V iSUP package has been put to good use.

Do you know an individual, group or class between the ages of 10-20 who may be interested in becoming a Wave Ranger and spending time in nature post COVID-19? If so, contact our Wave Manager, Sarah Jellard at sarahj@waveproject.co.uk
