Merry Christmas to all.
For me SUP is not dead because every time you mention the word foiling I fast forward to SUP content.:) Also another tongue and cheek comment. Why do top brands bother making boards that last, when every year they keep updating ? who wants to keep an out dated board ? 🙂
Haha. Good question about the brands updating their models. Generally there is a 2 year cycle before new designs are released. Bigger brands that have isup and hard bards will update the isups one year, and then the hard boards the next and so on. It’s always good to see innovation from the designers but if you’re happy with an older model board, stick with it
For example, I just bought a Sport 11.3 and now Red has come out with the Sport 12.6 plus. The 11.3 could still be the better board for me because of the extra width but maybe I will never find that out. My bank account doesnt want me to find that out 🙂 Sadly, where I live its hard to buy before you try many boards
Always a tricky play when brands drop new releases just after we have purchased them. If you’re enjoying the 11’3″, I wouldn’t worry too much 🙂
Buy, sell or hold ? SUP is just another form of gambling 🙂
I got a new SUP for Christmas!!
Nice…
