Wow… this is one stiff board! Hear our thoughts on the Isle Explorer Pro

They said it was stiff, but we didn’t realise quite how stiff! The Isle Explorer Pro really is a board that will get your attention… it certainly got ours! Sign into SUPboarder Pro to see full video

Thanks Reuben,
Then what about the gladiator Elite 14 T ? I just watched your review of it. It has less Rocker I think. It is 30 in wide and lite weight ? Is this the best one out of the lot ? It just so happens, I may be able to get one used. Is the gladiator far less stiffer than the isle explorer ? Thanks

hi Cam , you should check out the Quroc 12’6 or 13ft, the Starboard touring DSC and also the Shark performance tourer (my fav) . none of these are as stiff as the Isle , but as touring boards they would be top of my list 🙂

Hello, I’m not able to get the Isle Explorer video to load on vimeo. Is there a problem with the link?

Reuben, I have tried a couple different browsers(chrome, edge, brave) on multiple devices and still can’t get it to work. All I see is a vimeo address,

share=copy

All the other pro videos I have watched seem to be working. Thanks for the great content

Hi Reuben,

I would like to provide some update on the Isle Explorer availability in EU & UK, as the film is from November 2023.

I was interested in Explorer Pro and wrote to Isle why they are not available in the EU & UK. I got a reply from Isle FB page in July 2024 that “Due to copyright laws in the EU, unfortunately we are unable to offer the Explorer models in the EU market”.

So, it seems that those boards are not coming to our continent in the near future.

Thanks for the update Lukasz – yes, it’s the same copyright that made Red Paddle Co have to change their explorer to Voyager. WE are in continued discussions with Isle and there is still some talk of getting the boards to the EU and UK – they have some interesting looking products in development.
