In this video Reuben talks you through 2 different waterproof clothing options... a full drysuit and 2 piece separates. What are they? What are the pros and cons of each? And which one best suits your type of paddling?
Drysuits and 2 piece suits (separate waterproof jacket and trousers) are great waterproof clothing options if you want to stay dry when out on the water. Whether that be keeping the rain out, keeping dry when launching and landing, or staying dry after an unfortunate dunk when out paddling.
If you want to stay warm then keeping dry is essential, especially when paddling in colder climates. But it’s not always easy knowing what to wear as it needs be waterproof and yet unrestrictive and comfortable when paddling.
There are pros and cons to both full drysuits and 2 piece separates, and therefore it’s important to consider the type of paddling you’ll be doing when deciding which clothing option is best for you.
Palm Equipment offer a huge range of quality drysuits, waterproof jackets and trousers, to suit all types of SUP disciplines.
