Earlier this year we had a family holiday in Brittany, France where we were lucky enough to meet a local family who run the nearby watersports school ‘Enfants de la cote’. Guillaune and Fanny not only kindly shared their knowledge of local SUP and surf spots, they also invited us along to one of their organised SUP trips. This fantastic afternoon adventure involved paddling offshore to a small group of islands inhabited by the local seal population. Seeing so many seals soaking up the sun surrounded by crystal clear water was a fantastic sight. And learning how to responsibly behave around seals so not to disturb them was a great insight too. It was such a great experience and fun family trip we thought we’d share the video.
SUP is a fantastic way to see wildlife. Just make sure you keep your distance and act responsibly.
