This simple little WindSUP coaching tip will make teaching someone so much easier for you and for them.
I have spent years coaching windsurfing and know it can be hard to do, especially if you’re teaching kids and family members! But by leashing your board to theirs in light winds, it allows you to stay close to them, so no need to shout and you can also give them a helping pull in the right direction.
This works well for both windSUPing and wingSUPing in light winds, and helps prevent the inevitable, first time, long walk back to the launch site after getting blown downwind!
So… get out there and give it a go.

Love this video makes me think of my own dauhgter when she was a kid, I’m a big fan of Izzy, and a very good way to learn windsurfing for a kid.
I hope she’s still into the water now. 🙂
