The Zavidovo SUP Challenge was held last year in Russia and shows an ever growing SUP community around the world. Check out the action and results from the SUP racing.
Taking place in Zavidovo, the SUP race follows the River Volga in Russia. There are three events running on the day, the long distance race of 47km, the short distance race at 15km and the light distance race at 7km.
With over 300 participants of all ages, this has to be one of the biggest SUP races around the world. If you’re keen to get involved in the next races in Russia, make sure you check out Zavidovo SUP Challenge to secure your place. The 2021 event schedule is as follows;
– 15-16 May – ZSCh – Official SUP championship (in Russian Sports Ministry calendar). Location – “Radisson Zavidovo”
– 17-18 July – Family SUP challenge (kids race, kids+parants relay race, race with dogs) will be on flat water in Moscow (public beach)
– 25-26 September – ZSCh – Eurotour stage. Location – “Konakovo River club”
