The European SUP League opened a consultation on 19 October, inviting paddlers, clubs, brands and the wider SUP community to help shape its 2027 season. The questionnaire asks for feedback on race formats, heat structures, how rankings are calculated, prize money and support for athletes. Have your say to help shape the 2027 edition of the ESL.
One option would put the entire circuit between mid-April and the end of May. That would be a significant change from 2026, when six stops across five countries stretched from late April to mid-September. A shorter season would put more of the league’s racing into a single block, making the spacing between events and the fit with other international races particularly important for paddlers planning their season. The league is considering other options and has yet to confirm dates. European SUP League
This year’s circuit began in Santa Pola, Spain, and concluded in Sesimbra, Portugal, where Donato Freens and Alba Alonso Frey secured the overall titles. The October consultation gives the people who raced, hosted and supported those events a chance to feed their experience back into next year’s plans.
