The Gran Canaria Pro-Am is ON this week! Running from 3rd - 8th December, this APP World Tour SUP surf event will crown the World Champions for Performance SUP Surfing for Men, Women and U21 Boys and Girls, together with Longboard SUP Surfing for both Men and Women.
Day 1 kicked off yesterday (Tuesday 3rd December) with qualifying rounds for the men ,and the Men and Women’s Main event heats. Competition could get underway again today depending on conditions so check the link below to see if the event is Live.
The Gran Canaria Pro-Am, part of the APP World Tour for SUP Surfing, will take place from the 3rd -8th December on the Island’s North Shore, right in front of its bustling Capital City, utilizing the same venues as before, with opening rounds and longboard SUP at La Cicer, with the final rounds of performance sup surfing to take place at El Lloret.
With a new site venue that sits between the two spots and 6 days of festivities to celebrate the APP’s presence on the island for this prestigious event, history will once again be made in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Champions will be crowned.
