USA Surfing Crowns National Race & Surf Champions & Names 2026-2027 SUP Team

The series brought together some of the biggest names in American stand up paddling and helped determine the athletes who will represent the United States in upcoming international competition, including future ISA World Championship events.

Distance Race Champions

The Distance Race titles saw Stephanie Shideler claim the women’s crown, while Bodie Von Allmen secured the men’s title ahead of Campbell Carter.

Technical Race Champions

The Technical Race competition produced some closely contested racing, with Campbell Carter taking the men’s national title ahead of Connor Baxter. In the women’s division, Candice Appleby claimed victory ahead of Soryn Preston.

SUP Surf Champions

The SUP Surf division also crowned its national champions in Oceanside, with Anthony Maltese taking the Men’s Open title ahead of Dave Boehne. In the women’s event, Victoria Burgess claimed victory, with Mel Wygal finishing runner-up. The results completed a busy week of competition that also included Sprint, Distance and Technical Racing, while helping finalise the 2026-2027 USA Surfing SUP Team.

The completion of the inaugural USA Surfing SUP Race Series marks an important step in the continued development of competitive stand up paddling in the United States.
