USA Surfing has wrapped up its inaugural SUP Race Series, with the final event taking place in Oceanside, California, on June 11-12. The event served as the concluding stop of the 2026 USA Surfing SUP National Championships and Team Selection Series, with national titles awarded across Sprint, Distance, Technical and SUP Surf disciplines.
The series brought together some of the biggest names in American stand up paddling and helped determine the athletes who will represent the United States in upcoming international competition, including future ISA World Championship events.

The SUP Surf division also crowned its national champions in Oceanside, with Anthony Maltese taking the Men’s Open title ahead of Dave Boehne. In the women’s event, Victoria Burgess claimed victory, with Mel Wygal finishing runner-up. The results completed a busy week of competition that also included Sprint, Distance and Technical Racing, while helping finalise the 2026-2027 USA Surfing SUP Team.
