In this SUPboarder review, the team take a look at Palm Equipment's Helios range. This t-shirt design can be worn as a base layer during winter or as a paddling shirt in summer. They're super versatile and a new favourite of ours.
The Helios range from Palm is made from 82% recycled polyester and also comes packaged in paper. It has moisture wicking properties and is UPF 50+ sun protection rated. Both the men and women’s designs are very comfortable, lightweight and quick drying. They can also be worn as base layers when paddling in colder climates.
The long sleeve design comes with thumb loops and there is also a built in hood option too.
The Palm Helios range is perfect choice of apparel for all paddlers. You can wear this top year round no matter your location which makes it great value for money.
We would use the short sleeve design when training or as a base layer. The long sleeve option is great for long touring paddles to keep the sun off.
