The Long Paddle 2021 Begins

THE WHY

To circumnavigate this awesome Island Nation is a dream come true for Brendon but just as important is the opportunity to raise awareness for water safety, men’s health and our marine environment.

Brendon Prince will be undertaking the official world record attempt to circumnavigate mainland Britain by Stand Up Paddle Board. By being the first to ever complete this challenge, Brendon will also complete the world record for longest ever journey by SUP.

Brendon grew up on a farm in South Wales, with the sea (Severn Estuary) less than a mile from his front door. Unfortunately, the Severn is a rather muddy and uninviting so Brendon spent all his junior years in the river that boarders his family home. Building home made rafts, swimming and generally messing about in the water was a daily adventure.
