Join one of our readers as he completes the Gregory River Canoe Marathon on a SUP in the Australian Outback.
This event brings together the paddle community together for a weekend of fun and exciting racing. With a good mix of rapids and flat water paddling, the Gregory River Marathon is set over a 42km course for the main race and a 17km course for recreational paddlers.
Mostly aimed at canoes and kayaks, Matt was the first person on a SUP to complete the recreational course in 2018 and also the 42km main course in 2019. He’ll be going back for more this year and is upgrading his equipment!
The event is taking place on 2nd May, 2021. We wish all competitors the very best for this awesome race event.
