Interesting comment about the longboard performance needing to be around the 9′ range. I personally would say the longboard sup starts at the 9’6 and above if you want a longboard. The question of reducing the length to achieve better turns probably ran true of boards a few years ago but alot of the modern longboards on the market to-day are so performance driven that they are great at nose riding and making a nice bottom turn.
