The grom SUP surf side of our sport is growing steadily across the world. From the remote island chains in the Pacific, to the Channel Island of Jersey, kids of all ages are getting into SUP surfing and progressing the sport into the future. Groms like Sam (12) and Toby Axford (8) from Jersey show they are getting the sport dialled from a young age. Having grown up in the line up with a SUP under their feet, and with respect for the sea and other surfers, SUP groms like these two will be showing surfers and other water users a new generation of SUP surfer, and that the sport is here to stay.
No SUP surfing grom can do it alone. So a big thanks to the families and friends who have introduced these groms to SUP and got them on the water.
