Wow, this is exactly what I want to be doing at 76 years of age. Rick is ripping! The reason this video caught my attention was that all SUP surfers can learn a thing or two.
Watch Rick’s back foot placement. He moves his back foot to the toe side rail to engage the rail and turn the board toward his toe side. Then, Rick moves his back foot to the heel side rail to manoeuvre the board toward his heel side. He does this whilst keeping the front foot still. Far too often I see SUP surfers moving their front foot to turn the board. Try moving your back foot!
