Being wind affected is one of the biggest differences between the 2 (as when it’s blowing a gale cross shore it’s a lot of effort to stay in the same spot on a sup. The other massive difference for me is the paddle out. When it’s big or a mess out there it is much harder (in my opinion) on a sup (if you keep getting knocked off).
