2023 Berlin SUP Race – Euro Tour SUP

On the mens side the top 6 pack stayed together for most of the race with Berlin native and one of Germany’s best Normen Weber winning on a great executed strategy. With his breakthrough performance best junior talent Asger Smidt finishing second got his revenge after a tough one last week by getting his best result so far on the Euro Tour 2023. The ever consistent Ole Schwarz in third was so close in the final sprint too. After having so many close calls to the podium Hermann Husslein fishing 4th had is best result yet. Closing the Top 5 was the familiar face of Kaelan Lockhart in great shape again showing great momentum this season.

On the women’s side, Anna Tschirky  got her well deserved first win on Euro Tour after being basically on every podium this season and showing she’s a contender at anything she enters. Susanne Lier in 2nd had a very solid race showing the great form that always keeps her in the Top10 in the Euro Tour Rankings. On her first podium on tour Emma Freja Pedersen in third was ecstatic and paddled impressively. Young Katarzyna Zarembik in 4th impressed many on her first international event. Closing the Top 5 was local hero Tinka Thusche on her best international result.

The Kid’s race in the afternoon was a great success with the youngest competitor ever at 6yrs old. The tandem races were a great success too, with many of the kids going for the longer course and achieving great results.

We now take a summer break until Euro Tour 2023 event 11 on September 2nd: Punta Ala SUP Race, 2-3rd September
