Wing Foil Surf Slalom World Champions Crowned

It was an exciting and action-packed week in Brazil for the Copa Kitley GWA Wingfoil World Cup, the last event on the schedule for the GWA this season and the event that would crown the world champions.

Galea made a few errors in the heats, but managed to finish just ahead of 2nd place finisher Francesco Cappuzzo to secure his world title. Flora Artzner took control of the tour in previous events and needed to finish fourth or better here to secure her first world title. She was contested by Nia Suardiaz who had a string of wins throughout this Brazilian event, but it was Artzner who waled away with the title at the end of the season.
