We are supporting long time reader, Gavin Symonds, in reaching his SUP goals for 2022. In this vlog from Gav, he tests out the Starboard Sprint race SUP 14ft x 23".
For those of you unaware, SUPboarder is supporting long time reader, Gavin Symonds, with the best gear and access to training and coaching to reach his SUP goals in 2022. We’re following his progress as he chooses the right equipment with the main goal of competing the SUP 11 City Tour toward the end of the year.
Gav takes a drive down to Christchurch in the UK to visit The SUP Store and test out a Starboard Sprint 14′ 23″. Gavin has initially been training and racing on a ONE Ocean SUP Edge Pro 2.0 14′ x 23.5″, but his sights were always set on a Starboard Sprint and in this video Gavin talks us through some of the differences in feel between both boards.
It’s safe to say Gavin likes the Starboard Sprint and we will be seeing him on this board a lot more in UK races to come.
