The Treasure Coast Paddle Battle took place earlier this month in Fort Pierce, Florida, hosting the first event of the 2026 USA Surfing SUP Race Series.
Held at Jaycee Park on Florida’s Atlantic coast, the event brought together paddlers for a weekend of distance and technical racing, with competitors battling for early series points across both disciplines.

Brazilian paddler Eri Tenorio showed strong early-season form, taking the men’s distance race victory ahead of Campbell Carter and Blake Carmichael.

Tenorio continued his dominant performance in the technical race, completing a double victory across the weekend.
The Treasure Coast Paddle Battle marked the opening stop of the 2026 USA Surfing SUP Race Series, which continues later this month at Santa Cruz Paddlefest (March 26–29) in California.
The series will conclude at the USA SUP & Prone Championships in Oceanside, California, June 11–12.
