The Molokai 2 Oahu Race will again be run virtually in 2022 to respect the community of Molokai in returning to a post-pandemic normal. This means everyone can be involved no matter where you are located.
** Statement from M2O
We appreciate your patience as we worked with the local community of Moloka’i to find a safe pathway to hold the 24th edition of the M2O. Initially, we were excited to see Covid-19 restrictions for outdoor events lifting in Hawaii along with clear safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all athletes, staff, and the communities that our event touches. However, the community of Moloka’i are still vulnerable from the impacts of the pandemic and have asked the paddling communities to focus on a safe return to racing in 2023. We can’t wait to return to the shores of Molokai and crown new world champions.
If you’re keen to get involved in the virtual 16 mile race, head over to the M2O website to register.
