The SUP 11 City Tour concluded over the weekend. They had some pretty epic conditions for the race, so find out who took home the trophies here!
The big adventure through the fields of Friesland is finally complete. After five days and more than 200km of canals and lakes, Bruno Hasulyo crossed the line in the start/finish city of Leeuwarden to claim the fifth stage time trial and complete his journey in just over 21 hours.
This is Bruno’s fourth City title (2016, 2018, 2019, 2020) equaling the record set by “King of the Ultras” Bart De Zwart (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014).
Petronella van Malsen won today’s time trial to complete her clean sweep of the week. Petronella claimed her maiden 11 Cities Crown for the home nation after a series of podium finishes in the previous years.
The 12th annual SUP11-City Tour saw over 100 paddlers complete the “short stage from Dokkum to Leeuwarden (just 27km) in stiff headwind to cap off a rollercoaster week of weather in a race that’s dubbed “The Ultimate Challenge”.
