In this SUPboarder review we look at the Riber 290, the smallest inflatable SUP in the Riber range and the cheapest too. At £289 you get a lot of board for your money, but this board will not suit everyone. The Riber 290 is definitely a board for the lighter riders – sub 75kg. Being a relatively narrow board at 27.5” wide it offers lighter paddlers a board that glides well on the water. Riber also do a Unicorn and Jolly Roger edition in the same size for the kids.

A superb board for kids or lighter paddlers around 65kg and under.

Designed for riders wanting low volume and weight, the Riber Standard 290 iSUP has a classic pintail shape to guarantee performance and speed. This board is also great for kids due to the length (9’5”) and design options. A tri-fin cluster with a large removable fin gives further drive and tracking in almost any water state making this board easy to use and a great starter option.
