It's your turn to get involved in our new SUPboarder Challenges! The third challenge is to see how many step back turn spins you can do in 30 seconds.
In a new way to improve your technique, we have embarked on bringing you SUP challenges so you can have fun on the water and also step outside of your comfort zone a little bit.
The third challenge is to see how many step back turn spins you can do in 30 seconds. This challenge uses both the previous challenges by focussing on using the centre line of your board and walking to the tail. This teaches you how the board reacts to where you stand and helps you to move into the realm of surf stance which will aid with paddling in bumpy waters, downwind paddling and of course SUP surfing.
Remember to share your attempts on our social media channels Facebook (SUPboarder Magazine) & Instagram (@supboardermag) using #supboarderchallenge and tag us to enter the draw for some SUPboarder goodies. We will be choosing our favourite attempts (not necessarily the best, so get creative)!
We can’t wait to see some of your challenge attempts. We will also be posting our own attempts online so make sure to check out how we did and also some funny bloopers.
Good Luck & Have Fun!
