Tomorrow sees the start of the ICF SUP World Championships held in Hungary.
The 2021 ICF SUP World Championships will take place at Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe and the largest freshwater lake on the continent. Paddlers will be battling for the crown of world champion in numerous disciplines over the three day event. Top contenders to watch out for include previous World Champions Michael Booth, Fiona Wylde, Connor Baxter and Bruno Hasulyo, alongside dominant performs like April Zilg, Itzel Delgado, Titouan Puyo, Holly Pye and Esperanza Barreras.
Disciplines include the Technical Racing, Sprint Racing and Long Distance Marathon, plus an inflatable short course. Age divisions include Open, over 40+, over 50+ and junior age groups.
