Great lil’ video. Since I learned the technique to go from sitting, not only is it easier to talk to other surfers, it is a confident feeling when I pop up and start paddling (versus kneeling). The key I found is to be paddling/bracing the instant I am upright.
Still learning the technique where I put both feet to the front of the board while standing, which pops it under your bum and helps you to sit down in a more elegant fashion.

Another great video, thanks guys. I found this video very useful in learning the technique to pop up from sitting position https://youtu.be/Ah1ISisQn1M. Definitely worth practicing.

Wicked
excellent video and very helpful. I like drone shots, which you can see clearly how you paddle and maintain your balance.
I would love to know your weight & your board volume… Just to get a better understanding of what I’m seeing… Great Vids : )
Hey Naturian My weight is 75kg and in this video and for most of this series I was using 78-89L boards.
