SUP surfing level rising in South Africa

It’s always good to see what the SUP surfing level is around the world. And a national SUP surfing comp is a great way to get a country’s SUP crowd together. In July this year, the South African SUP Championships was held in Cape Town, and it was clear that the country’s SUP surfing level has gone up a notch! Guess it was only a matter of time with their good waves and rich surfing pedigree.  This video by Ivan Nathan Van Vuuren  really shows how the overall level has increased, especially in the ladies and juniors. Looks like there could be some strong world title contenders in there!
