The Style Lord is the epitome of SUP longboarding and should be considered if you are after stability on the nose coupled with performance off the tail. The wider outline in the front of the board allows you to walk up to the nose with ease and is perfect for beginners learning to nose ride. The pulled in tail shape gives you ease of turning for those learning or a faster reaction for the more advanced riders.

What the brand says
“PERFORMANCE LONGBOARD”
The Style Lord is a performance longboard shape designed for smooth carves, a timeless soul arch, or a little walk up the nose. It's also very agile when stepping back onto the tail, for a board that size.
All boards feature a squash tail with the exception of the 10'0 x 29" that has a pin tail that's a little bit more reactive for the more competitive riders.
Shape V2
The nose rocker, single concave with new beveled rails makes the Style Lord even more of a nose riding delight. Fine and rounded rails provide response without bogging. The area forward has also been increased to make for effortless nose riding.
Outline curves are smooth resulting in the easy initiation of carves, with hip between the feet allowing the board to come around hard on rail. The squash tail provides a squirty sensation from the straightening of the outline in the tail.
Rolled V and double concaves through the middle allow mid-board turning and acceleration while at the tail, they combine to produce tight driven turns.
These boards are at home in small powerless waves with good glide, but take them out in a bit of juice and they’ll be more than capable of holding a line in larger surf.

Hi Guys, bit late to the party and surf sup in general but just bought the Smik Style Lord 10 x 30 at half the RRP – bargain :-). Couldn’t resist it as it also comes with a boardbag worth £200. Anyway, still a lot of money to spend so wanted your opinion if I made the right choice or not for UK waves, knee to head high and a half? I’m 86kg, 52yrs old and been prone surfing for 40+yrs until I couldn’t anymore due to an old back injury. Cheers!
Great board, its riders great as a longboard but by getting back on the tail you can still really throw it around. I think with your strong surfing back ground you will love it. I feel your pain with back pain when surfing, last year i couldn’t prone at all and SUP saved me many times now with good stretching I can manage to prone and SUP surf fine. I just get to pick best board for the best conditions. But TBH most of the time I SUP because the boards are so good now, and I get more waves… Read more »
Hi Reuben, thanks for your reply! I had a back op about 28yrs ago and have tried everything under the sun to make it stronger to no avail. The best resource by far is a book by Dr Stuart McGill called ‘The Back Mechanic’ and specifically the McGill big 3: (Do these daily) The McGill Big 3: Full Breakdown with Brian Carroll. I’m not affiliated in anyway but I’d highly recommend it for everyone, bad back or not. The book is about £25 on Amazon. Loving your youtube videos and Supboarder Pro. Loads of useful advice, reviews etc. Keep up… Read more »
Hey Mike, thanks for the heads up on the book and link I will check it out. Really appreciate the sub on Pro also, its a really hard time in the market right now and without the support from you guys we would be here anymore. We are working on some cool stuff right now, to make SB and Pro easier and better to use. So watch this space. Let us know how you get on with your Smik when you have it.
