British Canoeing will change their name to Paddle UK this year to realign with the numerous paddle sports they manage in the UK.
British Canoeing are the governing body of SUP in the UK and they are undergoing a rebranding to Paddle UK, alongside using the brand identity Paddle England. The organisation is responsible for kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and paddlesport in the UK and the name change will become more inclusive for the new sports.
All current memberships, qualifications, courses and competitions will remain valid after the name change due to come into place this Spring and there will be a period of change before Paddle UK is complete.
