SUP Inflatables, a leading UK watersports retailer, has produced a video to help you understand more about the construction, shape and key features to look for when buying an iSUP.

At SUP inflatables we are passionate about getting people out on the right boards, with paddle boarding becoming more fashionable, unfortunately, we are at a stage where there is a lot of misinformation.

To try and support people in board choice and what to look out for we have produced this construction video, we have also produced an open-source version without branding for any brand or retailer that wants to use it.

There are more brands making boards that are NOT suitable to be out on the water than those that ARE suitable to be used on the water. We feel that the influx of online marketing and the ability to pretty much copy and paste great content from premium brands and then place that same information into the more cheaply made boards is leading to more and more consumers getting totally confused. This is leading to miss-selling, and boards that are not fit for purpose and in some cases products that shouldn’t be on the water at all.
