I bought one of these in a deal together with a 12′ race so I’ve got a board for the city and one for the surf. Given that I’m at best an intermediate with zero sup surfing experience when I took it out in Ireland I was expecting to spend the day getting hammered. Far from it! It’s very easy to catch waves with this board as long as you remember to get back quickly. Like the review says – it doesn’t have much nose rocker so will tend to dig in and dump you over the front.
