There’s no doubt that the shortboard SUP surfing level is increasing, and the boards are still getting smaller. Along with the current World Champion Caio Vaz, brother Ian Vaz and their crew of Brazilian surfers are doing their fair share of progression in the surfing scene. The waves that SUPers were catching, and the barrels they were making 5 years ago, seems a distant memory compared to the level of SUP surfing action we see today.
