European SUP League 2026 sets the route to the final overall standings across its three disciplines

The European SUP League 2026 has now confirmed its official calendar and the qualification system for the final overall standings in its three scoring disciplines: Long Distance, Sprint and Technical Race.

This season, the tour will visit six European venues: Santa Pola (Spain), Taranto (Italy), Zürich (Switzerland), Rybnik (Poland), Huelva (Spain) and Sesimbra (Portugal), reinforcing its international profile with a high-level competitive structure and a total of €72,000 in prize money.

The season will open in Santa Pola from April 24 to 26, with an event featuring Sprint, Long Distance and Technical Race, as well as non-official races such as Inflatable Long Distance, Popular race and brand relays. This opening stop will award €15,000, with €5,000 per scoring discipline.

The tour will then move to Taranto on May 1–2, hosting Technical Race and Long Distance, with €6,000 in prize money. Next will be Zürich on June 20–21, with all three official disciplines and €9,000 in prizes. One week later, Rybnik on June 27–28 will stage Sprint and Technical Race, with €6,000 at stake. In September, Huelva, on September 5–6, will once again host Sprint and Technical Race, offering another €6,000 in prize money, before the season concludes in Sesimbra from September 11 to 13, where Sprint, Technical Race and Long Distance will be held and €30,000 will be awarded for the final overall standings.

For the final overall classification, ESL has set a clear rule for each discipline. In Technical Race, there will be six events on the calendar and the best four results will count. In Long Distance, there will be four events and the best three results will count. In Sprint, there will be five events and the best three results will count.

This means that athletes aiming for the final overall standings must compete in at least the following number of events, depending on their chosen discipline:

• Technical Race: at least 4 events

• Long Distance: at least 3 events

• Sprint: at least 3 events

As a result, the discipline calendar is structured as follows:

Technical Race

Santa Pola, Taranto, Zürich, Rybnik, Huelva and Sesimbra.

Long Distance

Santa Pola, Taranto, Zürich and Sesimbra.

Sprint

Santa Pola, Zürich, Rybnik, Huelva and Sesimbra.

With this structure, the European SUP League strengthens the competitiveness of the tour and gives riders a clear roadmap to plan their season, secure the required appearances and fight for the 2026 final overall title.
