Starboard Source 'First Look' / A Wing Designed for Beginners

Starboard’s new Source wing has been designed specifically with beginners and schools in mind. In this 'First Look' video, we unbox the 5.0m and take an early look at the design philosophy behind it.

With durability-focused material choices, a large fixed boom/handle setup, compact wingspan and longer outline for stability, the Source is aimed at making learning to wing foil more accessible and forgiving. The wing is available in 2.5m, 3.5m, 5m and 6m sizes, with aluminium or carbon boom options.

Conceptually, this looks like a wing built to prioritise control, early/easy power and longevity all wrapped in a good price point from the respected Starboard brand .

We look forward to getting it on the water soon to see how it performs.
