Hi Beau,
Thanks for this usefull video. Personally I put my elbows on the board as far as possible (my fists being under my head), then I pull my arms to my sides. I feel it minimises the energy needed to climb on the board. Also, trying to stay as flat as possible on the board to avoid it flipping.
