Will and Reuben unbox the 2021 Naish Jet Foil High Aspect Wing and were surprised to see some interesting design elements.

Hi, do you have a preferred choice of lube/grease for the bolts/screws on the foils to help ensure they remain easy to insert/remove but do not seize? I appreciate the need for fresh water cleaning/rinsing after every session but is there a lube/grease that you have found works best?
Good question. This is a point that is changing alot over the last year. Using Tef-gel is the best stuff we have come across. But I have also use white marine grease for over 1 year in some of my other foils and they still come apart ok. Only applied it once so far…which is good! The stuff that is changing is alot of the top brands including Naish are changing there tread inserts in the foils to stainless steel and moving away from aluminium which is really bad for Corrosion and bonding joints in place. The Naish promo suggested that the foil could be left assembled. Are you planning in keeping it assembled for the testing period so we can find out the truth 😉
We did leave it assembled for our review window but unfortunately it was only about two weeks 🙂 so it was absolutely fine obviously.

We just did a first look for this foil. Because we were using it on the inflatable foil Hover board.
And we only had it for a few weeks so didn’t manage to get our heads into it properly for a full review!… BUT I have one coming back to us soon so we can get into this foil again and give you our feedback then.
