Charlie Head is currently paddling around Scotland on a SUP, solo and unsupported, to raise awareness and funds for mental health and the charity Dare2Express.
We caught up with Charlie almost half-way through his mission to get some insight into what he is doing, why he is doing it, where is is right now, how mental health fits into the picture and of course, to speak about his 100km SUP crossing that he completed in under 24 hours (with 15 hours of darkness!).
It is safe to say that Charlie is a true advocate of the sport of SUP. He aims to connect with the local people of Scotland and speak openly about the harsh reality of mental health and the desperate support that is needed.
Let’s all get behind Charlie to not only support him, but the incredible work of Dare2Express in raising awareness and funding support networks for mental health.
