Hi guys. I hope you don’t mind a question here. I’m after my first iSup. I’ve paddle boarded maybe 10 times before so I’m not a total newbie, but no champ either. My stats – 6ft 4, weight 99kg. I’m looking for a board that tracks well and has reasonable speed. I may take a few trips in moderately turbulent conditions (ie the local Estuary), but it will mostly be used for calmer waters – such as canals, slow rivers, lakes – with an objective to cover a little bit of distance from A to B with friends. Hey Craig, No worries. Good list of boards there. Out of that lot I would go for a board with a bit of length so the Quroc and the Bluefin stand out. Personally I would paddle the Quroc over the Bluefin because of the board weight of the bluefin…BUT the bluefin is a tough stiff board that will help you at your weight. Both boards will work for you TBH. But if you ever want to play around in the waves or the sea the Quroc would be better because it a little shorter. At the end of the day… Read more »
