It was a great weekend of action down at Watergate Bay, Cornwall for the BSUPA National Surf SUP Championships 10/11th October. A great turn out in all the classes and good conditions throughout the weekend provided a perfect set up for the comp. Some outstanding surfing from the youths to the defending champion. And Ollie Laddiman definitely showed that he is ready to leave the juniors this year and provide some tough competition in the mens open event in the future. In the ladies event there was a new face on the podium, Georgie Page in 3rd in her first BSUPA surf competition. And there was tough competition for 1st place between Tina and Holly, but it was Tina’s year. In the men’s comp Matt Barker Smith had to work hard to retain his title, but managed to find the waves and speed to put him at the top for another year.
