On the 4th August 9 riders made Danish history, with the first open water crossing on SUP. 42 km in open water, crossing heavy traffic lanes for the freight ships, struggling with strong currents, waves and an unforgiving sun. There was a route – but no audience, there was a winner – but no prize. STROKES is about pushing the limits of yourself and the limits of the SUP. But most importantly is to have a good time while doing so. By: Christian Duus
