The board has some great features that are well finished and make a real difference to the performance of the board. It also hits a very good price point.
The 14' is only available in 1 width. And at 25" wide it will challenge many riders over 85kg.
Buy if... you weigh 80kg and under, and want a fast, flat water race board that will get people talking!

It seems a good race inflatablr board. The question is How behaves it with waves and wind?
Good for downwind?
Thanks for your comment Jorge. We will let you know about that one soon 😉
I really looking forward the review! Thanks. Can you please just say whether it is above average, average or below average SUP? From what I have seen so fat it looks like a killer for premium inflatable race SUPs.
I would love to say but they are still in transit to us. We hope to have them soon. After the review of their surf SUPs I cant see them being bad.
Reuben, thank you for answer. Unfortunately it seems that the board is unavailable in almost all the Decathlons through Europe. According to czech Decathlon the date when it will be available again is unknown because the boards are not manufactured and making these boards is not on Decathlon’s schedule.
Might be worth checking again, because we have just got the boards arrive with us now and I know we where waiting for a new delivery from the factory. They might be in stores now?
Good news! Hope that they will send some boards to Decathlon in my country…
any update on when you will review those boards?
You’re in luck Boris. The Race SUP has just arrived 2 days ago! So we will crack on with the review now. So I would say 2 weeks time it will be live. There has been a lot of demand for this board, because we were expecting the Itiwit race in May!
how does it compare to Red Paddle’s Elite 14 by 25?
If both were on the beach I would pick the Itiwit. The Red is a better finished board and package. But for the money I would go for the itiwit.
And performance speaking only? The Elite review showed quite better speed and it was a 27 wide.
So we could imagine the Elite 14×25 is far faster
You are right its faster. With its thinner width and tail release edge it has less drag for sure and really has a good amount of glide to it. But because its narrower it is less stable and if you’re using in choppy conditions the board may bot be as fast (especially if you fall in). Make sense?
That makes sens, thanks. Brainstorm keeps going between stability and performance 😉
Recieved both the 14′ and 12’6 this week (think I may have the only 14′ in the UK at the moment) and think for the price tag they are both great boards. Think these could be a real challenge to the premium name bands. In the right hands they are potential race winners. Would say they are a match for some of the hard boards on the market.
Both boards, wow nice one Sean… Defo great valve boards that will challenge the hard board for sure like you said. Remember we have a 14′ foot and are based in UK 😉
Hi, Is the 12.6′ much more stable than the 14′? And does this have a big influences on the average speed?
I’m thinking to buy this board, only not sure which size to take.
Hey Nick, because of the 12’6″ being wider at 26 wide it will offer you more stability but it will be a slower because of it width and its length.
A 14′ at the same width will generally always be faster then a 12’6″.
But the questions you need to answer are,,,
What weight are you?
(If you are around 90kg+ I would look at the 26″ wide 12’6.)
What water conditions are you using the board in?
Are going to enter any races? Because certain races will have 12’6 and 14′ race classes.
Hope that helps?
Hi Reuben, i will use the board only on flat canals. Races i’m not going to do in the near future. It’s more to work on my fitness together with biking. My goal is to paddle bigger endurance distances. At the moment i’ll paddle on a aqua marina beast, which is a lot more stable :-). My weight is between 70-75 kg depends on the time in the year.
Ok Nick if you want a bit of a challenge then the 14′ will be a little bit of work, but okay for you at your body weight. But obviously it doesn’t really matter if you go for 12 6 or the 14 if you just want to get a workout improve your fitness and endurance. Both boards will feel very different compare to the beast but obviously a 14′ will feel like a speed needle. If you want easier balance & paddling go for the 126. If you want superfast paddling and a bit of a challenge go for… Read more »
Hi Reuben, thanks for the reply and advise. I just got from itiwit that there will come a 27” march next year, so maybe i will wait untill then. Or Maybe i will go for the 14’25”, a little challenge is also acceptable/ fun :-).
Hi. I have 14′ for more than one year. Most likely not the most stable board in this length but also nothing that you could adapt in a short time. My weight ranges from 75 – 80 kg. My previous experience is Red 10.6. On a flat water the 14′ feels quite stable. Stability is not a problem after one or two sessions. I would only go for more stable option if my SUP sessions are mainly on areas with waves from a side direction (or on sea). These waves make the paddling really uncomfortable. Especially a short “wave-lenght”… Read more »
Hi Lukas,
Thanks for the feedback! I’m almost there to buy this board. i was also looking to composite boards. But the much cheaper price of this 1 will pull me over :-). My use is only on super flat canals, so the stability will be more than OK i suppose.
Excellent and demanding (for a 100kg SUPerman). Nevertheless real fun and sport – not just recreational cruising). I bought ITIWIT carbon fin and the board became much more unstable so returned to the plastic, kit fin (some 1,5 inches longer/deeper into the water).
Great comment Barry good to know. Thanks
