Starboard has confirmed that its iconic All Star race board — a staple of the SUP racing world for over a decade — will receive a major shape update for 2026. Pre-register your interest now.
The All Star has been Starboard’s most versatile performance race board, used by athletes across flatwater, ocean, and technical courses. The 2026 revision continues this legacy with a redesigned outline, refined rails, and an updated deck concept aimed at improving stability, acceleration, and control in unpredictable water conditions.
While Starboard has not repositioned the board as a replacement for existing models like the Sprint or Gen-R, the company says the new All Star is intended to outperform previous All Star versions across the widest range of conditions — an area where the board has traditionally excelled. The updated shape focuses on cleaner water flow, increased responsiveness, and improved drainage, all of which contribute to a lighter, faster feel on the water.
Racers familiar with the All Star will recognise the same core philosophy behind the new design: a race board that adapts seamlessly from buoy-to-buoy sprinting to open-water downwind sections. Starboard’s 2026 edition aims to deliver more speed without sacrificing the board’s hallmark stability, making it suitable for elite athletes as well as advanced paddlers moving into racing.
The updated All Star is scheduled for release next year, with Starboard positioning it as the next step in one of the sport’s most influential board lineages. As SUP racing continues to grow and innovate, the All Star’s latest evolution signals Starboard’s intention to remain at the front of the competitive field.
