The iGNiTE Wing evolves from Starboard’s award-winning iGNiTE Air Windsurf design. The new board combines its aerodynamic reputation with tailored enhancements for explosive high jumps, agile tricks, and effortless rebounds after splashdowns.

Reactive Outline: Its compact silhouette—with the widest point positioned beneath the front foot—ensures lightning-fast rebounds and responsive handling.
Sharp Chine Rails: These rails provide stability and forgiving landings from various angles.
Diamond Tail: Balanced tail volume and a rounded diamond shape allow clean takeoffs and landings, while the sharp rail enhances bounce-back performance.
Vee Nose: Engineered for smooth, controlled touchdowns, enabling consistent re-pop across conditions.
Deck Volume & Rebound Rocker: A thin deck profile ensures direct foil interaction, while strategically placed volume under the rear foot enhances rebound—paired with a mostly flat rockerline for rapid recovery after landings.

Constructed using Starboard’s Blue Carbon Sandwich technology—which leverages reinforced PVC layers for strength, light weight, and responsiveness—the board draws on the same structural excellence seen in their elite windsurfing line. Optional Limited Series versions add biaxial carbon fiber lamination, PVC stringers, double-reinforced rails, fiberglass overlays, and Australian pine inserts under the feet for added durability.

The board features a 12″ US track foilbox, offering precise strap placement for foil adjustments—critical for fine-tuning pop, glide, and handling. Volume distribution is optimized to support balanced takeoff and consistent rebound.
