NAMUR 2025 NEWSLETTER

On the women’s side, Marin Hoeboer surprised everyone with her maiden win. The freshly crowned Dutch champ paddled a great race for first place. She didn’t have it easy with Lola Pelletier pushing her all the way to the very last sprint. Staying with the Top3 the whole race Emma Freja Pedersen finished third after being all race in contention. On her second consecutive week in the podium was another junior Elin van der Sar in 4th. Closing out the Top5 was Nathalie Van Olmen with a very consistent race from the experienced paddler. Special mention to Stinna Morell Lerche that after a great start, got tangled in a fishing line, suffering cuts in several fingers, and still managed to come back and finish the race strong.

Making it back to back wins was Donato Freens showing his amazing moment of form & strength, marking also his second win of Euro Tour 2025. He didn’t have it easy, with an all out sprint for the rest of Top5 right behind him. With a slight edge over the rest was Ethan Bry finishing second. In a tighter pack was Joep Van Bakel in thirds. In 4th Ole Schwarz right behind. Closing the Top5 was the always consistent Kjell De Bruyn.

The Kids/Juniors had once again great presence in #Namur clinching coveted spots in the Top10 as well as setting new records with an 8yr old completing the Amateur race.

We really want to thank Bertrand and the whole team at @the_flow_namur for the excellent welcome and successfully completing the longest running event on @eurotoursup with a trademark 15th year anniversary that confirms that family events have their place in the calendar and will always be an integral part of EuroTour.
