WORLD SUP FESTIVAL 2025 – Euro Tour SUP

On the women’s side Espe Barreras had a great performance for the win, going from less to more in a really close finish. Leading for most of the race Mariecarmen Rivera in second looked set for the win, fading only on the last part of the race. Alba Frey in third had a very consistent race, being always in contention. A bit further back Duna Gordillo finished 4th on another strong showing. Closing the Top5 was legend of the sport Jenny Kalmbach on her first EuroTour adventure showing that experience indeed matters, with a great race.

The men’s race was all Shuri Araki who led the entire course, dominating on his favourite ocean conditions and finally winning in Santa Pola, after being so close in the past. Aaron Sanchez in second was the only one close enough to the leader the whole race, on one of his best performances. With a great comeback, the ever consistent Arthur Arutkin led the whole french armada. In 4th, Ethan Bry was near the front most of the race and impressed everyone. Closing the Top5 was multiple event winner Michael Booth showing than when the going gets tough, he’s always there.

The Junior races were a big success with a very talented international field. The Foil downwind SUP race were a big show with its biggest edition to date. The international contingent made the most out of the difficult conditions and Clement Colmas & Iballa Moreno winning.
