The Great Glen has been one of the bucket list events for paddlers across the world. Taking place in Scotland along Loch Ness, this year's edition took place on the 20th and 21st of September with the non-stop race and 2 day divisions. See the results below.
The Great Glen is one of the ultimate challenges for SUP racers. A 92km course, traversing flat, calm water and open lochs subject to wind and weather, paddlers compete in non-stop format or opt to paddle over 2-days to complete the challenge.
This year saw the top two men only a minute apart and the ladies only 4 minutes apart for the winners. The race started in the north and went south across Loch Ness due to the wind. Results are published below.
A very well done to all the competitors – even the DNS and DNF entries tell a story.
