The man behind Honu / Mark Travers chats about design, production & more...

After recently reviewing the excellent Bondi surf iSUP, Reuben sits down with Honu founder Mark Travers to find out what’s been happening behind the scenes, since he took over the brand in 2019.

It’s a great insight into his background, what it takes to run a quality SUP brand, and the work and time involved in producing quality iSUP boards, such as the new Bondi and 11’2 Sorrento. There have been lots of great developments in the 2024 range, and exciting new innovations such as welded carbon rails. Even though it’s a relatively small team at Honu they still manage to deliver a quality range of boards, with excellent customer service, to happy customers all around the world.
