Get your entries in for the Big Dippa Race coming up on the 15th July this year at Whitley Bay, UK.
This event is a fantastic day out in Whitely Bay for everyone. Combined with the North Sea Weekender festival running across the July 15-16 weekend, paddleboarders of all abilities are welcome to join in to the competition. Spectators, family and friends can listen to live music, enjoy street food stalls and the bar.
Cash prizes will be given to the overall winners of the distance & technical race combined (£300 , £150 , £75 – 1st, 2nd & 3rd for male and female 12ft 6 & 14ft).
The SUP action is organised by Northerly Swell Surfside Emporium and Northern SUP Race Club.
Main Race Times:
• 11.00am Distance Race / Leisure Class
• 1.00 – 2.00pm Fun sprint races and kids races
• 2.30pm Technical Race

* 9.00-10.00am technique session for anyone wanting to learn more about paddle boarding (booking required)
