Nice vid as always 🙂 How do you compare those boards to the Starboard Longboard that came out the last 2 years as testwinner and is still unchanged?

Hi, Nice video. I had a Smik hipster twin 8ft, at 70kg I always felt it was a bit big for me. I’ve come from a short board surf background. I found it a fast board down the line, but not as manoeuvrable as I would have liked, though better if you moved the back foot a lot. I found it a nice stable board, though at times the tail did have a tendency to ‘disappear’ if there was a lot of water movement. Hi Brian, thanks very much for writing your experience of the SMIK Hipster Twin. Great to have your insights. Sorry to hear it wasn’t the right board for you. They do make them quite wide which does affect the turning and glide.
